About Getoday India
Getoday India, operated under Shoo Kada (Angamaly, Kerala), is a local marketplace platform that connects verified sellers with customers across Kochi and Angamaly.
Sellers can list non-food products and enjoy same-day delivery using Getoday’s verified delivery partners.
This Seller Policy outlines the rules, responsibilities, and benefits for all sellers registered on Getoday India.
By registering as a seller, you agree to comply with this policy and the platform’s general terms of service.
1. Seller Registration

Sellers must provide accurate business details during registration, including:

Business/Shop Name

Owner’s Full Name and Contact Information

GST Number (if applicable)
-
Pickup Address (must be within Kochi or Angamaly for now)

Valid ID proof and Bank Details for payouts

Registration is free for a limited period.
-
Sellers are verified by the Getoday team before activation.
2. Commission & Fees

Getoday charges 10% commission on every successful sale.
-
No registration or monthly subscription fee applies during the promotional period.

A ₹100 product listing fee applies per item (after free quota, if applicable).

Sellers receive payouts weekly to their registered bank account after deducting commission and delivery costs (if applicable).
3. Delivery & Logistics
-
All deliveries are handled by Getoday’s local delivery network to ensure same-day service.

Sellers must prepare products for pickup within 2 hours of order confirmation.

Getoday will notify sellers through the Seller Dashboard or WhatsApp message once an order is placed.

Sellers must ensure proper packaging and labeling of items before pickup.
-
Delivery costs are borne by the customer unless otherwise specified in a promotion.
4. Returns & Refunds

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery if the product is unused, undamaged, and includes all original tags and packaging.

Customized and innerwear products are not eligible for returns due to hygiene and personalization standards.

Returned products will be sent back to the seller for inspection before refund approval.

Refunds will be processed to the buyer only after verification of the product’s condition.
5. Product Listing Rules

Sellers are allowed to list non-food, legal, and safe-to-sell products only.

Prohibited items include:

Food and beverages

Tobacco, alcohol, or restricted goods

Counterfeit or branded replicas
-
Hazardous materials or illegal substances

Product titles, descriptions, and images must be clear, accurate, and original.

All products must include pricing, stock count, and delivery readiness.
6. Seller Responsibilities

Keep product stock updated in the Seller Dashboard.

Maintain consistent quality and authenticity of products.

Respond promptly to customer or Getoday communications.
-
Ensure timely order preparation for smooth delivery operations.
-
Maintain professional and respectful conduct toward customers, delivery partners, and Getoday staff.
7. Payments & Settlements

Seller payouts are made every 7 days for delivered and confirmed orders.

Refunds and chargebacks (if any) are adjusted in the next payout cycle.

Sellers must ensure bank and UPI details are accurate to avoid delays.

Any disputes regarding payments must be raised within 7 days of payout.
8. Compliance & Legal

Sellers must comply with all Indian laws, including GST regulations, consumer protection laws, and product safety norms.

Getoday India reserves the right to suspend or terminate a seller account in cases of:

Misleading listings or fake products

Repeated customer complaints
-
Policy violations or non-cooperation with verification checks
